Apart from the one made by Hayes Diversified Technologies for the U.S. Marine Corps, the Dutch-made Track T-800 CDI with Smart engine and the German-made Neander, you'll only find custom-made ones or conversions. Too bad stationary engines in low-displacement ranges which would fit into the 600 are pretty heavy.

I would really like to go with the stock tranny and I think my heart is now set on the smart cdi you sold me cripple! But I live in America damn it

If yu're unable to find a Smart CDi back there, it's time to look at a Kohler KDW1003 engine as a last alternative. Altough it's an IDI, and I prefer direct injection, I wouldn't disconsider it totally...
