I think they did put some of those od manuals in some vans; knew someone that owned one (dont know if was OD) but it was a shortie with a 318

Some people hate tiny death traps, so more power to the guy wanting the best from the car he likes.
Depending on how many miles you drive having an extra car to license and insure plus maintane. How far ahead is someone going to get if he's already pushing 30 MPG. If it were a big ol' 10 mpg truck different story.

Thanks, and nice looking Olds engine you have for your Avatar! Your right, I don't want to drive a death trap! LOL!
I am sure you would, but if a 4 banger does make enough power to peel the skin off a grape, the MPG's would be worse than my v-8.
I just noticed your sig. Not to shabby. But still pretty slow for my taste.

You're kidding right? They didn't even have 180 horse power, true American HP? What he's doing is nothing permanent and is far less abusive than it going into the ghetto.

OK, 102 degrees today, A/C blasting, 25.9 MPG!
