"open for a lower than $3000 best offer."??? I would look at this car in a heartbeat if it were near me.

Nice find!

Posting the full text & photo for posterity (since it will disappear from CL)...

The $3000 price listed is what the Insight is worth and I am only interested in selling the Insight, however I am open for a lower than $3000 best offer.
I am also open for a trade for a reliable manual or automatic transmission car which runs now with at least 30mpg, model year later than 2000.
This Honda Insight is 2001 blue body, exterior good condition but missing only the right rear fender skirt, not necessary..
On Thursday, Oct 12, 2012, I ran over concrete curb which cracked oil pan, bent right tie rod, shoved back bent radiator housing, but radiator OK..
Good air conditioner and heater, however one A/C refrigerator pipe may have been punctured by the radiator housing.
I am retired, living on Social Security and can't afford to fix these problems, if you are a mechanic the repair involves only one tie rod with alignment and new radiator housing to have this vehicle in good running condition.
I will sell this entire car as-is for part-out or to someone who wants to fix it themselves or have it repaired.
I can have it towed to a buyer from my home to a destination less than 100 miles. Kansas City downtown is about 50 miles north of my home.
The transmission is a 5 speed in good condition.
Good engines, both gas and electric, usually obtaining 50 to 55 mpg, and the odometer is 124,142 actual true reading. When I bought the car in 2010, the odometer was 78,312, the previous owner bought it new, not drove it much, housed in garage, and I have invoices of it having all scheduled dealer maintenance by the previous owner..
The expensive Honda Hybrid Battery was dealer replaced by the previous owner less than three years ago, with another 5 year warranty, still active.
The non hybrid battery was new this year.
The front tires were replaced new, one in 2012 and one in 2011.
I have the clear title and current registration, in my name.

Price is low but remember to still look it over WELL because all sorts of things might be hiding Still worth it for parts but any other issues are talking points on the price.
