1989 CRX HF - what's it worth?

A good guy I know has a 1989 CRX HF. They were never sold in Canada, this is the only one I have ever seen, it was imported from the USA. It has 200k miles on it. There is some rust in the rear 1/4s, but nothing terrible, I think the rest of it is original paint. The rust is maybe the size of a few quarters beside each other, above the rear bumper. Interior isn't bad, and the A/C works. It's kinda tired, but driveable as is. He is thinking about either rebuilding the engine, or selling it. Since we never had them up here, I have no idea what these things are worth. I usually rely on the auction to provide me with rare eco cars, but I think this is the only one of these I will ever see! What would y'all consider a fair price for a car like this?

It's worth whatever someone will pay. One day it's worth 750$ another 3500$. Honestly. I would think about 1500$ would be fair to both. It does run go and stop on it's own correct.
