1989 Honda CRX HF For Sale

So I have two CRX HFs and need to sell one. I got this one as a fixer upper, but time has slipped by and I no longer have time to keep on fixing it up.
So got to let her go.

Pretty much stock.
Has AC and heater works great.
Gas mileage If you are interested you already know that they are great. Have not driven this one enough to figure it out but my other gets 45-65 mpg depending how I drive.

I have been steadily working on it.
It came with a blown head gasket and I have done the following work;
• New head gasket
• Rebuilt head and valves
• New timing chain
• New water pump
• New distributor cap, rotor, plug wires, plugs
• Four new 175/70-13 tires. These have about 500 miles on them and are stock size.
• Radiator cored and cleaned.
• Two new rebuilt injectors and two originals cleaned and tested.
• New exhaust system and catalytic converter. It had on it non-stock system when I got it and would not smog. Passed CA smog to register it with no problem after I replaced this.



What needs to be done and what is not so good.
• Seats. If you know CRXs then you know that these are always problem They have mediocre covers on them and need upholstering.
• Paint work. Has a gel coat on it and that is peeling in some places.
• Body is over all pretty good with no rust. A few dings but these are minor.
• Windshield and drivers window glass are pitted and could be replaced.
• No radio/stereo system. Original one was junk so I pulled it and have not replaced it. System is pretty personal so you spend as much as you want on this. Or you can have what came out of it since I don’t want it either.

None of this stands in the way of it being ready to go. Just depends upon how perfect you want it to be. Overall a great car and I love the one I am keeping even though it has higher miles.
