welcome! i was wondering what engine size you have and what rpm's you turn at 65-70 highway speed? mods? pics would be cool!

I removed all unnecessary weight, dash pad, glove box,spare tire,jack jack handle, trunk carpet and rear speakers. I added very light aluninum wheels and Firestone FR380 tires,which I run at 40psi, also cut off the radio antenna, removed the rusted out muffler and installed a Kawasaki jet ski expansion chamber pipe at the end , dont know if the pipe helps the mpg, but I like the way it sounds. I drive at 60mph on the interstate to and from work about 50-60 miles round trip.

That's some good numbers, I had a 90 xe 2 door, 5 spd, lookes exactly like yours, didn't drive as smart as I do today and got mid 30s. Strong engine, sold car after about 195,000 miles. Did have a speedo problem early on so check it and see how close to real speed it indicates, mine was way slow and was replaced under warranty.

I've checked the speedo with GPS, Google map milage check, and mile markers, it's spot on.
