1992 civic dx

I just picked this car up to resell. Figured I would try on here first. Stock d15b7 engine with 5 speed transmission. 217k on odometer. Previous owner replaced head gasket, thermostat, timing belt, water pump, radiator, hoses, plugs, wires with less than 20k miles on those parts.

This week I am mounting 4 brand new tires, new clutch master and slave cylinders, new lf outer tie rod, dented fender, and pa inspecting it.

I've driven it 300 miles since Saturday and it runs fine and shifts fine. I haven't filled it up to see what the mileage is yet but I'll post this tank reading. It's mint green with tan interior which is in nice condition. Not much rust at all. Dents and dings here and there. Great for a first car for a student or starter Eco project. Guaranteed 40 mpg highway out of the box. Again it's not finished yet I'll post some pics when it's done I figured id throw it on.

I'll be asking 1700

Yup, I'd rather buy a car from someone that just said they got a deal on it and want to get something out of it than hear "I bought it for my girlfriend but she didn't like the colour" one more time ha ha. Eco cars are a weird market, an old car is a hard sell, no matter how good the F.E. is, most people just think "That 1992 Civic is the same price as this 2004 Cavalier, I'll take the Cavalier, it's newer!" Even though the Civic beats it in every possible way.

Yup exactly. And the sedan is an especially hard sell. They just dont go for much anymore. At this point I'm hoping to just break even on it. But either way I'm not skipping out on fixing the stuff that needs fixing. Heck I put the clutch master and slave on It even though they weren't bad just as a preventative maintenance item. If it doesn't sell Ill keep it for my fiancées son. He's turning 16 in about a year. It'll be ready to rock and roll for another 100k
