Hey, thanks a lot!

Looking at the parts diagram, which part controls the idle?

I really appreciate the guidance.

Well, I opened it up and looked at and blew out all the jets and passages, but all in all it was amazingly clean inside. I could find no problems at all.

But when I reassembled it, it had an idle. I drove it around a while and it still has an idle.
Thanks again for the advice.

Idle speed should be a thumb screw on the back side of the carburetor, it's hard to see, you can fumble around and find it tho it's right next to one of the fuel cut off solenoids, but it sounds like your problem is fixed? if not the repair manual that I gave a link to has the adjustment in chapter 12 page 13 and 14.

I'm glad to hear that you have your car running better.

Thanks Ryland. It may not be fixed, but there is, at least temporarily, an idle. Now I can adjust it. Before there was nothing there to adjust.

I really like these website! I've been thinking about this stuff for years.
