I would love that! One could buy a brand new engine and trans, install themselves and be set for the next 250k+ miles.

It's out of the way, but there is a blue one with a 5 speed, 84k miles (supposedly) that would be a great donor car. About 6.5 hours away from Norfolk. $1400

I wonder what MPG numbers one of those would put down with a nicely rebuilt VTEC-e motor. Electric would probably be a better swap.
