1st long economy check on a 97 5 door diesel 2ltr Vitara

Last Friday, good weather needed to go to collect some spares for the above.
total of 230 miles. on 5.23 UK gallons of diesel fuel calculates out at about 44mpg.
Thas driving at a steady 50 to 55 mpg.
However about 40 miles was urban stop start roads im pleased with the results .
My guess is that the steady state consumption will be in the order of 50 mpg at 50 mph.
Thats not using any turbo boost. , skinny tyres at 45psi, coasting as much as possible ie not breaking till really needed.
Next step is to get the bio diesel making plant operational.
