2-stoke oil in 4-stoke in gas.

I ran across this Been testing Oil and read up on it; looks like it could benefit us. I will be testing it shortly. Anyone have any experience with this?

Ha ha. No smoke with this; the ratio is 640:1 and it's low/no smoke oil.

I have used it a few times, can't say it did any good. I have used other "fuel system cleaners/lubricators" to help extend the life of a failing fuel pump. It worked for another 3 years before I sold the car.

TRUE STORY -- When I was in the service, my younger sister began driving my '53 flathead Ford, but was "accustomed" to driving our Dad's 3-cylinder 2-stroke SAAB which needed "oil" poured into the gas tank. So, the first time she filled that tank -- you guessed it -- she poured oil into the Ford's tank. Until she emptied that tank of gas, she "fogged" the whole neighborhood everytime she started the car...and Dad had to change the spark plugs.

A small amount of 2-stroke oil in the gasoline was an usual practice to protect carburettors when ethanol blends started to become mandatory in the gasoline in my country.
