Why not run 60 or a hair lower? It's just a matter of learning to use the mirrors differently. Had some speed governed big trucks and can attest that 55 mph is no big adjustment. (Learning to manage overcoming traffic is another set of tricks. Luckily 97% of four wheelers haven't got a clue that this can be done: move them around one smoothly, efficiently and safely).

Time "savings" is illusory. Trip planning takes care of it.

And, blah, blah (especially as to the premise of this site); I just want to know

what that truck will do steady state over 300+ miles!
