2006 Jeep Liberty 2.8L CRD

Hi. New-to-me vehicle with 180,000km. New hubs, bearings, complete new brake system, new tires and alignment, and new rear suspension. Fresh air filter, as well as oil change and filter. Still have some work to do under the hood.

Using winter diesel and only getting 6.9-7.5 km/L (~16 mpg) with all highway driving but was expecting around 26mpg.

Another issue is the rear window instantly gets covered in water/dirt when driving, so there’s a lot of drag or turbulence.

Looking forward to reading some aeromodding ideas for a brick-shaped SUV.
