Just love seeing people strive for awesome mpgs on this site. Finally joined to poke around some more.

The highest I've gotten (Highway) has been scangauge calc'd (37mpg) Handcalc'd (35mpg) With my commutes as of late I usually hit 27-28.5mpg. These are mostly short trips to and from class which is about 2 miles through neighborhoods and 4 miles highway. Which I'm pretty happy with coming from a 3k pound AWD car. 10 mile City trips that lead into 30 mile highway trips and then to 8 mile back road trips to my camp I consistently maintain 31mpg. Overall, Not too bad.
