Today, thekanuk (IC member) and I met at my house and we had some fun time discussing about the magical Insight that we both pocess. The nice thing is that my Insight was made in january 2000 and his car in may 2006. So I have one of the first CAN Insight and he has one of the last .

Just curious what the last 3 digits of the VIN are on your 2000? My old one was June 2000 production, and I am wondering if they had a different VIN series for the Canadian models, or if all the ones produced for the whole world had sequential numbers?

095. I have the 95th 2000 CAN Insight.

Hmmm. I thought they only sold 155 - 2000 models in Canada. Mine was #178, and it was a June build, so the model year wouldn't have changed until Sept. production. I guess they shipped some of the others to the US?
