I finally did it, quite possibly my personal crowning achievement for my 2014 Toyota Aqua/Prius C: reach 1000km with its 36L fuel tank!
1005.4km (624.7 miles) travelled, consuming 29.89L (7.9 gal(US)) = 33.6km/L (2.97L/100km) (79.12mpg(US))
This was really down to the wire on the range guess-o-meter, 14km before reserve fuel (5L according to the car's manual). I think I'd be happy now going ahead being less self-critical on my eco driving and refueling at my leisure, rather than push it to the last few litres. The new eco driving habits I learnt over the past year would stay with me forever. But now I don't have a goal to aim for as such, just to make good of whatever comes now.
