A few times a year, I would see a few dazzle-camouflaged vehicles mix in our LA commuter traffic. They usually travel east to Nevada deserts for hot weather-testing or returning back to any one of the many manufacturers' California HQs.
This AM saw a camo-covered vehicle with Michigan-manufacturer plates. The body style was 'hamster' recognizable, a Kia Soul, but it did not have any exhaust pipes and it had a covered grill. It is most likely the Hyundai-Kia's Soul EV 2016, to be launched next year for export NA markets. It will be available in South Korea in June. It will have a 92 miles of driving range and rapid recharge takes about half an hour, full battery pack replenishment takes four hours.
...be taking more pics of any more sightings, especially EV models!
