Hopefully it isn’t a 14 month wait like the 2022 (you can hope)

Good luck on your efficient truckster

Interesting color. It seems to tend to blue or gray depending on the lighting.

Ya, the color looks amazing in the sunlight and in person, I plan on painting the wheels a gloss black, I might try to have a body shop paint the grille strip the same color as the vehicle, time will tell!

Seems to be slightly darker than the color of the first 2022 Maverick that I saw on the wild. Or maybe it was the same color under a different lighting... But the one I saw appeared more grey than blue.

Well we decided to not get the Maverick after all, 1. It still isn't built, 2. My son wouldn't have had enough leg room for longer than 30 minute rides, my wife is 5'11'' and my son is 6'3'' at 14 years old, so we ended up with a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan for primary travel and road trips!

If I hadn't got mine by chance and for sticker price last year I sure wouldn't try to buy one now! They haven't gotten better at production times, they've steadily gotten worse, and now all the dealers are putting big "market adjustments" on them

On a brighter note my Maverick is awesome as my daily driver, and I don't plan on having anybody in the back seats so it works for my purposes

Hmmm after forty years one would think Ford stretched the front leg room in the cab enough for leggy people's fit. Apparently not or tallpeople aren't the demographic.

It certainly is big enough to have room, it seems like Ford is great at making giagantic vehicles that feel cramped inside.

That said I rather have a Maverick with just a front bench seat (hate buckets) and a long box.

As the Transit Connect is scheduled to be phased out in America, maybe such option for the Maverick and a canopy would make it a suitable replacement for some commercial operators...
