Very cool! Interesting bike mods too. :) Crazy efficiency, 121 wh/mile @ 75mph average! (including charger losses) wow.

The photo above shows the bike drinking 4, level 2 charger dry. All at the same time. 24 kiloWatts.

Whats a level 2 charger?

Level 1 - 120V
Level 2 - 240V
Level 3 - 480V

Up to 6.6 kiloWatts each.

But you can get 50 amps of 240 volt power, which gives you 12kw.

So is the class system based purely voltage or is there an implied wattage limit too?

Then is that voltage single or 3 phase?
If its single phase is it line to line power or line to neutral?
If its 3 phase is it delta or "wye" configured?

6.6 kiloWatts from each charging station. He can use up to 4 at once to charge in under an hour and then ride at 75 mph for 3 hours.
