Very cool! Interesting bike mods too. Crazy efficiency, 121 wh/mile @ 75mph average! (including charger losses) wow.

The photo above shows the bike drinking 4, level 2 charger dry. All at the same time. 24 kiloWatts.

Whats a level 2 charger?

1984 chevy suburban, custom made 6.5L diesel turbocharged with a Garrett T76 and Holset HE351VE, 22:1 compression 13psi of intercooled boost.
1989 firebird mostly stock. Aside from the 6-speed manual trans, corvette gen 5 front brakes, 1LE drive shaft, 4th Gen disc brake fbody rear end.
2011 leaf SL, white, portable 240v CHAdeMO, trailer hitch, new batt as of 2014.

Level 2 - 240V

But you can get 50 amps of 240 volt power, which gives you 12kw.
So is the class system based purely voltage or is there an implied wattage limit too?
Then is that voltage single or 3 phase?
If its single phase is it line to line power or line to neutral?
If its 3 phase is it delta or "wye" configured?

You can push 70 amps at level 2, why are they running at such a low output?
