37.67 US MPG with my Altima 1998 ^^

Done this @ 55-60mph.

It was during a road trip to another city (57 miles).
I fueled up the car at my city, a total of 114.9 miles. It accepted 3.05 US Gallons

I think it should have been higher of 1 or 1.5 MPG, because, I did some errands in another city.

I changed a lot of things in that car and I'm happy to see the results. ^^

Edit: Just to precise, the car is 100% stock.

That's very good mileage for the Altima. But you have to be able to maintain that mileage for every tank, as individual tanks have underfill errors that inflate your apparent mpg.

Cool beans! SentraSE-R speaks the truth.

Because you are stock, you have the opportunity to "leave it be" and build up your baseline MPG. After X number of different kinds of tanks you will get a feel for how it performs in city/freeway dominant conditions.

Maybe the only mod you might want is a Scangauge.

I had that happen to me last year when I filled at a different pump where my car was leaning toward the pump. I was all proud of my accomplishment. Until my next fill-up. I've since beaten that fill legitimately.

The car gave me more 31-32 MPG on highway/road.
But, it gave twice 34 MPGs during summer.

I'll post again with another road trip mileage.... hope next week, it goes over 30 MPG
