4 leaf clover strikes
Went to my step daughters house to watch the two rug rats, but her husband came home early and we were not needed.
I had tried to buy a trailer from the local Harbor Freight without success, even checked the ones in Richmond since we were going there anyway.
No luck.
Since we came home early, I checked CL and found a brand new 4X8 Harbor Freight trailer for $175. Called the seller and went over there this morning and bought it. It is a lower capacity, around 1000 pounds total, and has 8 inch wheels, recommended for not over 55 MPH, but for that price I can live with it.
Anything more than 1k lbs behind the Sentra (owners manual says1000 lbs) would be suicide, like the Xterra that merged into me on 64 with a foot to spare.

$175 is a good deal especially if they already assembled it. I have the ~1800lb capacity one, put a 3/4" plywood floor on it, and some rails out of 1x4 and its been good. Pulls great behind my Golf.

There is 2 HF in Richmond. 1 on Hull St and Chippenham Pkwy next to the Haynes and one off Parham Rd near Reynolds community college.
Then you got one on VA Beach BLVD. The one there only lets you use 1 coupon per a day per person and purchase. The other 2 dont care, they use as many coupons as the computer lets them.

Cobb, the trailer is in my garage. I checked both Richmond locations as well as Newport News and nobody had one of the 90154 sku number trailers, slightly greater load capacity than the one I got and 12 inch wheels instead of the 8 inch wheels on the one in my garage. The one I got is 950 lbs capacity, 1170 gross weight. The Sentra is rated for 1000.

I can see the trailer in your garage, but you didnt say you visited both HF in Richmond. I had family in VA Beach so its no big deal to drive down there owning a hybrid either.
Thats the one I would get as it stores up right and can roll around.

"even checked the ones in Richmond"
Quote from the first post on this thread. No, I did not visit them, used the phone instead. I had already been to the NN store without success (36 miles), after that I was not driving around to any more HF's. Just called them with the sku number (90154). I was offered a rain check. I think they want to collect the 83 bucks shipping but they never stated that clearly.

I've been fairly happy with my Harbor Freight folding trailer.
Used trailers around me are ridiculous, there was this same trailer for sale locally, rusty, faded, beat up wood deck, for $450. I grabbed this one one sale, and with a 25% off coupon. 12" wheel model. I think with the spare added in I ended up around $270-$280 out the door.
In the end though, I didn't want it folding, so I bolted and trued everything, welded it all, repainted the trailer, added the tongue box, deck, tie down loops,, flipped to spring-under-axle to lower it, notched the hangers, raised the fenders, etc etc, and ended up with a slightly better trailer with way too much time invested in it. Then I killed/parted out my dirt bike about 2 months after getting the trailer together, so it's sat in the yard holding the snow plow all this year. Hope to have a new bike for next year though. Still want to add a 10-12" rail around 3 sides.
If I had to do it all over again I'd either buy a new trailer the way I want it, or build one from scratch. It kept looking cost prohibitive, but if I tally up what's now in this one it comes out much closer.
