So I committed to it and looped the lines. The Camry is odd because there's two lines going from rack to shaft, then two going from shaft to the pump. I drained the pump and connected the two lines that go from rack to pump, and it is SUPER stiff. Nearly impossible to steer. But it does not feel like tire drag making it hard, it feels like fluid build up. Maybe I have to connect the two sides of the rack and leave the lines going to the shaft empty. Very little info on Camrys but I read every single thread I could find on Subarus, Hondas, Corollas, Miatas, etc. so I was confident I had enough info to make it work.
