500 mile tank

I picked up an 01 Civic several months ago, which is what really got me into ecomodding. Since I got the car I've been after a 500 mile tank, and 7 tanks later, I got it. Right at 500 miles, it took 12.323 gallons of gas which worked out to 40.57mpg (also my first 40mpg tank). I feel like there's a good bit more in it and look forward to more milestones.

All the mileage was done commuting to and from work at rush hour. About 18 lights over a 14 mile drive; 6 miles fairly open road with 4 miles of gridlock stop and go traffic on each end.

Way to go!! It's so much fun reaching those milestones! And working that around rush hour isn't easy one bit.

Congratulations! Sounds a much more challenging commute than mine, so extra Kudos for getting over 500 miles!
