$64.60 MAXKGO Controller used to turn alternator into motor with REGEN!

If this controller turns an alternator into a motor with REGEN;
then you could easily turn your cars alternator into a motor/alternator!?

Here's the video with the alternator being fitted to a quad bike that looks to have quite a bit of oomph!
The shown setup is easy via a wireless or wired app.

Here's the MAXKGO MINIV6.8 60V 100A controller and software:

Nobody?
I want one!
It'll disappear as soon as it hits local customs sadly, unless I use DHL which costs a fortune.

I'm thinking that if one feeds the regen to some supercaps and then a MPPT you should get more regen than otherwise:
Supercaps can take amps and MPPTs change low rpm/voltage into pulses of battery charging specific high voltage pulses.
Just an MPPT would also work.

Then you want rotor field winding control to zero cogging when coasting etc
and to increase the rpms at which the motor can run etc.

i wonder if this controller could be used to control a factory altermotor, such as the one GM used in the e-assist hybrids?

I assume these factory altermotor's ctlrs are built into the ctlr for the rest of the car, so an issue?

My 1st thought is: "Endless-Sphere will know".
There are people there building their own motors!

Searched:
controller for factory altermotor, such as the one GM used in the e-assist hybrids?

1st link is:
https://endless-sphere.com/sphere/th...r-motor.31584/

2nd link is back here:
https://www.ecomodder.com/forum/show...-35003-12.html

Another:
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...highlight=reem

Now that's a whole lot of reading!
But it seems to me that; having gotten hold of an altermotor, there will be info and knowledgeable help on 'what ctlrs' will work for your specific make and model.

So now the question becomes; which make and model to look for.
I have no idea!

I would wager yes, more easily even than with a generic alternator. It's probably nearly plug and play. This appears to be a "sensorless" controller, meaning it drives the motor blindly, without position sensors. That's an advantage as not all motors use the same type of position sensors. This controller should drive any motor that can be set up to use 3 phases.

It's sensorless, using back emf via reverse protected silicon. Also not a lot of watts to control max 1400. I have bigger toy electric motor controllers, just change the sense method
