7-14 december LA car borrowing.

I will be attending a conference between the 7th and 14th of december in LA.

I have to be there for 1 whole day and will probably visit friends in Oakland.

I am wondering if some one would be willing to lend or rend a car for that duration? I can always use one of the rental agencies but I thought that putting money towards one of our fellow members would be a better use of resources.

But that is like the ferrari of ecomodders so I doubt anyone would lend one to me.

I would but don't live in the area. Don't have anything cool to drive, but what I have, I like to lend.

I would be a new member on Insight Central and that would be a bit awkward. Any car would do. Can even buy it and sell it back if there are concerns.

Just checked the car rental companies, sixt gave a quote of 236 usd.
