92 VX FED passed CA SMOG

I finally purchased a 92 FED VX with 312k miles and can now contribute to the forum. I was worried about passing smog here in cali after reading other threads and since I passed id like to share my set up and let people know it is possible. I hope this can be of some help to people. Here are the details that may of contributed to my smog results:

Iridium plugs ~20k miles
New air filter
New fuel filter
Adjusted timing to center mark (red mark)
Shell regular grade fuel
Valvoline 5W-30 Maxlife
Napa Gold Oil filter
Intake EGR ports cleaned 20k Miles ago
Don’t know if the engine has been rebuilt. Engine sounds great.

Day before smog I bedded in my new brakes (Floored it from 10 to 60mph about 20 times)
Day of smog my battery went dead, I left my lights on at work. ECU may of reset.
Drove about 10min to station keeping the RPM’s up to get her warmed up good.
Allowed it to idle for about 5-10min at the station before it was put on the rollers.

44mpg on my first tank. Included brake pad bedding. Some LA traffic and 65-70mph highway speeds. Not corrected for slightly larger tires.
