Unhappy 94 geo metro ECM # ?

Hey I've got an "Oregon" Geo metro, '94, it's got the 4 lead o2 sensor so I'll assume that means "Calif. emissions"? What, does anyone know where to find the part # of the ECM , and does anyone know the XFI's ECM part # for a '94 ? Because mine is a BASE model, but now has a XFI computer... I'm turning it into an XFI

Part number should be on the ECM label. All late '94 Metros got the 4-wire O2 sensor, not just California versions. I have two '94 Metros with Federal emissions and both had the 4-wire O2 sensors.

The top of the label will have something like B4 or L1, or another letter/number code.

Next is the ECM description. My '92 XFi is: "3 - ER - FED"
3 = 3-cyl, 4 = 4-cyl
ER = XFi, MT = manual trans, AT = auto trans
FED = federal emissions, CAL = California emissions

Then you have the Suzuki and Denso part numbers.

Question Metro, turning into an XFI

excuse me, I said, that my Geo has the xfi computer,,,, sorry, I meant , it has the XFI cam installed,, I've bought a CA emission computer for an XFI, was going to install it, but learned that Oregon doesn't have CA emissions. So, my question,, do I have to "swap back the original cam", or do I just get a "FED" , 94 XFI computer? I sure hope you, or someone can tell me straight. My Mech. tells me normally, that the color of the connection is what's important to match... the normal comp. connection is "Green" I've XFI comp. from a '92, that's Fed, it's white. I've just bought a CA emission XFI computer that's white also, I've called a place in Texas where I can buy a '94 XFI comp. and he told me its white also? Wow, what can I do? Replace the entire wire bundle? Please , if you know , or know of someone else who does, please send them my way. I'm working on getting to the difficult 70mpg Hwy........ if I can get this done... Sincerely, Gaud29
