Here is an image that you guys might find interesting.
I was driving behind a Prius, and noticed that there was an area where the back of the car was clean, and the dust only settled on the very center of the car.
I had never seen anything like this before, and this might be an indicator of good flow separation in these areas.
I tried to get a good pic, but I was driving.
I enhanced the pic so you can see it more clearly ( but I did not edit the pic to make it look more dramatic. )
Also, of note is the Thule cargo carrier on the roof of the van to the right.
We have noticed in the past that they designed this thing "backwards", with the pointed end at the front.
I was noticing how a simple profile picture does not do the design justice, since, as you can see here, there is a definite rearward taper.
