Someone will surely want one. I want an amphibious car.
I think this is a viable design, but like Xist says it needs retractable landing gear. It leans heavily on the Mott Taylor Aerocar design. Instead of a trailerable section it is a single body, with the rear wheels moved to the empennage. From Chuck Berry it gets the name and "...a powerful motor and a hide-away wing...".
Because it has rear-wheel drive, it does a rotation on the rear axle as it lifts off while most tail-draggers lift the tail first.
