I'm just waiting for those two NYC trip tanks to roll off. As it is the "B" trip shows 31.5 mpg over the last 2500 miles.

Have you tried taping the panel gaps? That's a fairly reversible mod. But from what I can see the gaps are quite tight anyway. Smooth wheel covers? Maybe try taping them up first?
