Air dam for Toyota Tacoma
 I took the time to put on a lawn edging air dam on the 2005 Toyota Tacoma. My standard run before installation gave me 22.2 mpg by ScanGageII. My standard run after installation gave me 22.8 mpg by ScanGageII. I call this a wash or a learning experience. I still have to seal the gap between the lawn edging and the bumper. I would have liked to have a 9" lawn edging, but not available in this area.
Also attached is the lower grill block on the Accord. I don't go for style because all the stores had was white corroplast and that blue tape.

Looks like someone needs to invest in some flat black paint lol. Or maybe Plasti-Dip...
Any reason why you did lower grill blocks? Seems the typical trend on this site is to block the upper grill. Not sure if it has more or less effect on the aero, just wondering why you decided on blocking the lowers.

Blocked the lower grill of the Accord to try to get an air dam with least effort. Blocked the Tacoma because it was there. Put Plexiglas over the Tacoma "fog" lights because they were big holes in the front and I was trying to get a little more streamlined.

I would do something about that broken pan underneath the Honda first...

That broken pan has been replaced twice and will cost $400 to get replaced again. I'm using wire ties and whatever to hold it up to where it currently is.

Installing an air dam that hides it from the wind would undoubtedly help aero. |

You could build a better/cheaper one from Coroplast...

You guys just reminded me to foil tape the backside of my bumper and chin spoiler to keep the air out.
I no long believe in lawn edging, going conveyor belt next time.
Too many people have backed in to my chin spoiler by parking by braille.

I plan on buying some more corroplast (white, naturally) and some hurricane tape (duct tape didn't hold) and try again to get the thing up and working. I'll try the hurricane tape first, then both if that doesn't work.
I also plan on replacing the 6" lawn edging with something wider, but none of the stores near here have conveyor belts in retail at the short length I would want. Still looking though.

My local retailer (Tractor Supply) has 6-foot and 15-foot lengths, I need 7-feet.
Too bad you are in Texas, we could split a roll.
