1 piece, full width, windshields are the norm in the RV business these days. Some are VERY big.

Nope. Unfortunately, 3 piece. The StarShip is unique in that it has 4 "A" pillars.
Because "B" pillars are always behind the driver and passenger's head, I have called our 4 pillars that are forward of the "B" pillars, "A1" and "A2" pillars.
The "A2" pillars are in the normal "A" pillar location. The "A1" pillars are mounted inboard somewhat, closer to the longitudinal centerline, but still outside of the driver and passenger's normal line-of-sight.
The glazing between the "A1" pillars is normal AS1 safety glass. Gotta be legit and legal with the feds and others. All glazing rearward of the "A1" pillars are AS4 Lexan (polycarbonate) hard-coated with sprayed plasma.

I would hope so. Can you imagine the replacement cost for a huge, changing-radius windshield? Ouch./QUOTE]
The windshield would be somewhat affordable. It would be the tooling that would kill you on the price.
Our tooling is 17 times the cost of one windshield, and we got a break on the price because the company wanted to work with us to showcase their work.

Big is relatively easy, believe it or not. Depth of the radius is the issue. That's why we had to do a 3 piece unit.
I know that the Koenigsegg car costs $2M plus. But I still don't know where they had that windshield done. Notice the depth of that windshield. Looks just short of a mile, or so. The depth is from the bottom of that one wiper to the top rear of the "A" pillars.

Yeah, yeah, kinda like that.
But now imagine that 4 forward pillar principal on the Koenigsegg windshield.

double-A-pillars
While Jaray was sourcing curved glass for his projects,Kamm went the double-A-pillar route as well.
Also Hans Ledwinka
BMW
'n Carl Breer's 1934 Chrysler/DeSoto Airflow aerodynamic test mule

Gentlemen thanks for the update. It just goes to show that there isn't much in automotive design that has not already been done in over 120 years.
