Please excuse me if I already mentioned this.
Mom walked into my room Thursday morning, thought "He looks so peaceful sleeping there" and shouted "Wake up!"
I was about to get ready to drive 3.5 hours to see my dentist and she ordered me to reinstall her glove box.
"I need to--"
"Reinstall my glove box!"
She had a screw loose. The glovebox fell open too far when you opened it and the black plastic with insulation on it under the glove box popped out. She insisted that it was the air filter, I kept telling her it wasn't, and she shouted "Yes it is!"
The whole way down, around Gilbert, and back.
I needed to remove all of these panels to put the panel under the glovebox back:
So, I put everything together when I was supposed to be driving down. I tried to make up time, but after 10 minutes I was stuck behind this for 30 miles:
They let us pass in Heber-Overgaard.
Someone in a lifted Ram flew past me, but dropped to 45 in Star Valley. That is the speed limit, but the speed limit was 55 when they passed me!
I went to pass, they cut me off, and I swerved to go around them.
They flew past after Star Valley and I never saw them again.
I kept trying to pass someone driving a Tundra leaving Payson and they changed lanes in front of me 4 times before I got past.
Mom called when I was approaching the dental office and demanded to know why the guy who drove 80 the entire way down wasn't there yet.
I needed to drive 81?!
I arrived a few minutes early and would have let her know I made it safely, but nothing is ever good enough for her.
I have appointments on May 9th at 09 and May 25th at 1300. They are going to try to fit in more work for 7 hours of driving, but I may need to make a trip or two for that, too.
I don't have any idea how long it will take to regrow bone and I need to find a dental plan that doesn't have a wait period and doesn't have a missing-tooth clause.
Everything I found so far says "Talk to a high-pressure salesman!"
