All my favorites in one place

The entire History of Industrial Design series is awesome, but this bonus content is on topic for this subforum.

He goes right back to the Pierre Selmershiem Parlor Car, the earliest example model of a stanced car; although being made of wax, maybe it just melted into that raked stance.

Learned a few things: there was a fiberglass Stout Scarab after WWII?*

Pau Arzens made both the monstorous La Baleine in 1937 and [personal favorite] the Electric Egg in 1942. Think of an Arcimoto FUV with 8/11ths the weight but 600lb in batteries.

Who among us have a favorite on this list?

*edit:

A final, updated version (below) constructed in 1946, the Stout Scarab Experimental, utilized a fiberglass body shell—claimed to be the world’s first—and air suspension. That’s Bill Stout at the wheel. This car still exists today in the collection of the Detroit Historical Society.

That's some positive camber on those rear wheels.

Wasn't really expecting a response until aerohead checks in, but here's another installment in the series.

Highlights include a bullet train proposed in 1865, and Adolphe Apel's 1910 precursor to the modern-day M-hull.
