Why factor in aero? I'd go for the weight savings then let coroplast save the day with aero. Best of both worlds.

Most people who spend $1000 on forged wheels aren't going to hide them behind 50c worth of coroplast. Coroplast will also destroy the finish on a wheel after just a few miles of flapping and rubbing.

Cheap alloys are generally heavier than steel. Look at a steel wheel, it's maybe 2mm thick at it's sturdiest section. Compare that to an alloy that's often 10mm or thicker in places.
