Rustoleum has finally released their Neverwet Rain Repellent for Glass. It's an alternative to Rain-X. It appears that they are rolling it out slowly, test marketing in select areas.
They claim a 10 year service life. The trick must be encumbered by patents. The little nano-scale glass lozenges are supposed to adhere through van der Waals forces once the carrier evaporates.
