I think that the Mirage really is the modern metro. If you can get 60 MPG off the lot at 21 PSI, then it is pretty darn good. Most Metros that I find and owned by "normal" people usually got them around 40 MPG, maybe lower. And the Mirage has the modern safety features that the Metro didn't have. With some basic mods, you should be getting better than most Metro owners out there.

Have fun!

I might be able to get a edge on some of the Metros because there isn't as many as their should be out and about but those pesky VX civic's are dominating the top ten. I'll have to get some highway trips on level ground, the mountains around me really hold my mpg back. My mpg is down to 45-50 (I'll check when I fill up).

Looked at a Mirage today, very nice car and suprisingly roomy for my 6'4" frame!
definitely roomier than the chevy spark.

I agree! I would not buy a spark but I do love them. I am a fan of all tiny affordable mpg beasts, and I really like seeing Chevy putting a small car out there for us. One of these days I would like to have a super mini meet for all the small cars.
