Crap, I drove a hugely overpowered bluebird flatnose 50 passenger bus that got 30mpg. Shouldn't be THAT hard.

Prius - '06 Toyota Prius

When I did check the fuel mileage I got around 7.5-8mpg in a few 70 passenger buses.

That was either start and stop constantly or going over steep mountain passes. So theoretically a person should be able to get a lot better than that.
