I've been getting high 60's with my Honda cb125s, then I swapped sprockets to another tooth larger and got another 8mpg out of it, just put a new muffler on and am interested in seeing if that helps or not, plans for the winter include an engine rebuild.

Wow, thats really encouraging... over a 10% mileage improvement from taller gears... That would rock because I seem to be stuck at ~63mpg... and I my goal is to get over 70.

with the sprocket swap I went from a 15 tooth in front to a 16 tooth, and a 40 tooth in the rear, so the change was drastic, bumped my top speed from 55mph up to almost 65mph in 5th gear with the engine running 9,500 rpm, but I still have enough power to use shift up to 5th gear slow as 35mph on flat roads.
once I rebuild the engine (21,000 mies on a 125cc engine that runs at 9,000rpm) it should have a bit more power, and higher compression so my mileage should go up again, this rebuild should cost around $150 if I use all new oem parts from the dealer.

They have a few different models, but sometimes they are hard to find on the website. I think this is the one I have pictured.

Christopher Jorden-Did you build that yellow trike? Or is it production? If it's production do you have a name, website, any info on it?
I'm interested.

That trike was built in Denmark about '94-'95 I think. City-EL failed, restarted, failed again, then sold everything to Germany. They are building the same EV trike today. I found many web sites and clubs before buying. Lots of them in Germany (in photos anyway!).

Mine was underpowered at first but boosted up before I bought it here in Silicon Valley CA. by adding another deep cell and lots of computer stuff for charging, so now it is pretty overpowered for in town use!

The roof-line is different from the Denmark model: mine is a "Targa" convertible- leaning forward, the German one they sell is "Fun" model- leaning backwards. Real easy to license and cheap to insure (motorcycle). I've seen about 5 of them in CA.
