Any Zenn hop-ups?

Couple of 2007 Zenns around here. In 2007 bolt-on converters and hotter lightweight batteries were coming... and coming... and coming... then Zenn factory quit.

I may buy one but Zenns never got over 25 m.p.h. - my old City-EL from Germany would do 50 but they warned not to go over 35 (I ignored instructions). Zenn probably has a governer or a limiter in the controller.

It would be neat if they had speed computer chips like some of those hot rod cars. Does anyone make hop-ups for Zenn?

I'm certain one could be modified to go faster, but drive one first. If they are anything like a GEM I drove, the 25mph limited speed is appropriate for its handling characteristics.
