To score you need start at OEM

A few weeks ago I bought an Honda Civic VEi 1995.

The goal was to save on fuel compare to my Accord Type-R and so use it for a daily drive.

I was hoping for 1 lrt/ 16km.

The car had some stupid mods; Cold air intake, remus sport exhaust, 195/50-15 tyres.

+ leaking exhaust.

Now back to stock tyres (175/70-13), stock (repaird)exhaust, stock intake, oil change 10W-40, gearbox oil change.
Now (at halfway tank) the score = 1ltr / 19.3 km!

Bought(1st tank) = MPG 31 1 ltr / 11 km

Now(2nd tank) = MPG 54.45 1ltr / 19.30 km

Target = MPG 60.1 1ltr / 21.30 km

Things to do: tune up kit (plugs, cap, airfilter, leads), valve adjustment, close the front undertray under the engine, clean the trottlebody, clean the EGR valve, back to stock suspension.

Looking forward to making the MPG 60.1

welocme!
Post up your car in your garage so it show each time you post.
Those civis are great little cars. A lot of guys here have them.

You didn't mention psi. you might want to raise it to 40-43. However, with a lowered suspension, you might find the combination a little firm!

I will do my best to post in my garage

I have a 4drs sedan VEi. Great car

Thank you for the idea to raise the psi but the ride is very hard at the moment. When turning into my street for parking it slams on the ground. Rediculous
