Anyone use Porous coverings?

I guess that recessed glass may have been more boattailing, according to Hucho , 4th edition Pg 172-174. It was a 9% improvement with only 20 mm extension. That could be easy to try on my wagon, as the overall rear window angle is the roughly the same (50 degrees, I think), but the window bulges out on the wagon, where the VW is flat.

I finally got a graphic scanned.I took a french curve to Hucho's table and extrapolated his curve out to where it might have played out.
It's just a 'guess',but it looks like the Cd would 'bottom' when the box was equal to around 42% of the body length.
