Article: Chevrolet Volt in final phase
Hello -
Here's another Volt update : Autocar - Chevrolet Volt in final phase - 21 August 2008 Quote:

i like the whole volt idea, it gets good mileage 50's and can plug in, so it is an electric car that can get a long range, it gets rid of all the disadvantages that people come up with except for "i don't want to have to plug it in every single night." (i wouldn't mind plugging it in" The whole problem is that it will most likely be too expensive for me. Being 17 I don't make that much money. (i wish it was around or under $20,000)

Sell a second version without an ICE please.
I like the idea a lot though. |
Hi,
That picture is of the old Volt -- they should have used the pictures of the "new" production version. |

Here are the pix : 2011 Chevrolet Volt Revealed - Transformers Toys, News & Reviews - TFormers.com - September 09, 2008 Attachment 1741 Hrmmmmmm, now it's a 4 door. CarloSW2 |
i liked the original volt design, it now looks like any other car, the only difference is the front end.

Yeah, but this car will actually work. The prototype design was horribly unaerodynamic and would never have worked.
IMO it looks very nice. |

The original Volt design WAS a 4 door, but cleverly disguised as a coupe. http://www.chevy-volt.net/images/che...ept-header.jpg |

Oops, good catch! I thought the Volt was a 2 door. Mea culpa. CarloSW2 |
have they released any current prices, it may go down a bit because it is smaller and on an existing platform
