Audi A2 Scangauge II

I recently bought an 2001 Audi A2, 1.4TDI with 220k miles. It has no factory on-board computer and I was thinking that Scangauge would be the best retrofit option. I was wondering if Scangauge would work but can't find much experiences of it in the Audi A2 TDI. The car has OBD2 port and at least VCDS fault reader works on it.

Hi,
I would try OBD bluetooth dongle and Torque app first. Firstly, its much easier to get in Europe and secondly, if it doesn't work, you dont loose so much.
I am not the expert, but it seems to me that both use the same protocol, so if one works, second should work too.

Can't see a reason why it wouldn't work.

Worked with my VW 2.5TDI and works with my 2016 Renault 1.6dCi.

Don't buy a Ultragauge though, they don't support diesel.

There are also a number of newer options on the market in the way of programmable traditional gauges.
