At $400 plus your own Windows laptop, this is a pricy instrument. However, it appears to cover the 2001-03 and I understand 2004-09 Prius systems. For the 2010 Prius, it reads a 20+ list of standard OBD-II data fields that easily includes:
- ICE rpm
- mass flow
- speed
- accelerator position
- barometric pressure - both manifold and absolute
- coolant temperature
- EGR status
sub-second sampling rates
It has multple dislays and runs fairly easily. Although not as small as a Graham or dedicated performance scanner, it provides great flexibility as well as diagnostic support for repairing faults. Compared to the $250 Sears brand, scanner, this is a very capable tool.
