Avoiding alternator damage

Hey guys, i started another thread more so about my results, but also about how I hooked up the switch. It was very easy like the acuravigor website said. Just needed to ground that control wire FROM the alternator not from the ecu. I also explain my results in just cutting one wire and why that doesn't work.
