AWD! 2011 Suzuki SX4 6 speed manual build thread
Needed an AWD car with decent ground clearance, wanted decent fuel economy and manual, got this; 6 speed manual, 2.0 vvt i4, about 2850lbs, and an AWD system that can be switched to fwd only via a switch in the center console. Has an instantaneous and average mpg readout on the dash, cool stuff! Ordered racing disks already didn't try hard to get mpg on the drive home even had the ac on and mid 30's on the indicator! Goal is 40mpg 90 day average, shouldn't be hard!

I like them too, was one my last choices when I got my Cobalt, decided I'd just stay home if FWD won't get me to work and take the better MPG. I'll be curious to see how well you can do.

I don't remember to have ever seen the 4WD one with a manual transmission.

All years had the option of a manual, 2007-09 was 5 speed, 2010 on was 6 speed, it runs about 2000rpms at 50mph. In other news I'm finding out eoc is easier than I thought, very seamless bump starts!

Not really a noticable weight savings or aero benefit, but I removed the side impact strips, looks a lot better! I get my racing disks tomorrow!

Love the little Suzukis. I had a 96 Esteem sedan that sometimes got below 40 mpg, driving it like I stole it. A wagon, and AWD when you want it? That's awesome!

It actually doesn't look so bad with those moon caps. What have you used to keep them in place?

I kinda cheated, they are actual racing disks, so they fit on like regular hubcaps
