OUCH! I hate it when that happens!

Just an underinformed guess, but have you checked to see if one of your controllers welded shut? It does sound like you might have let some of the magic smoke out, though...

I am sure the magic smoke escaped as soon as I saw all the spaghetti under the lid! No damage hitting the wall, but jerking like that was unexpected!

Shower of sparks! Lots of wired are scorched and taped up; so maybe I did touch the red to black!

Not even a scratch in a few inches! I saw photos of a 2009 CityEL- same colour, same upholstery, only angle changes. Then I saw the mechanics. WOW!

Motor off to the side out of the way. All 4 batteries neatly mounted. No relays, clips, fuses, mountains of wires. Mine is all jammed in and surrounded with the 4th battery outside on the platform with HP box (whatever that is) more wires (computer clad) small relays, LEDs, and a meter.

If I ever get my hands on one of the newer version then my old one goes
