Bikes and toll roads

Here's an interesting article. I thought it was illegal to ride a bike on a toll road. This will save quite a bit of time for me in my commute. Until they change it and make it illegal.

The Texas Department of Transportation and the Department of Public Safety aren't quite so sure. Thomas e-mailed TxDOT back in early October, inquiring about the legality of riding a bicycle on the four tollways here in Austin (TxDOT runs three of them, including Texas 45 North). He expected to hear that what he had in mind was against the law. To his great surprise, it isn't. Not yet, anyway.

I wonder if this holds true in Georgia as well. Granted the only toll road I might take would be GA-400 south which is a 4 lane divided highway which I believe in itself is illegal to ride on.
